Water Jet Cutting
Water is pressurised to 55,000 psi and forced through a diamond or sapphire with an orifice ranging from 0.1 – 0.25mm. The result is an extremely fine bead of water which will cut through any soft material such as foam, rubber, plastic, glass fibre, etc. The cut is clean and accurate. |

Abrasive Water Jet Cutting
A sharp mineral ‘Garnet’can
be introduced into the water stream and focussed to give
a 1mm diameter beam (cutting tool) capable of profiling
almost any material, such as aluminium, titanium, stainless
steel ceramics, laminates and kevlars, without heat stressing
or deforming the material.
